CORE Market

CORE Market, formerly Wellhouse Market, is a shopping model food bank open on Mondays from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. CORE Market is committed to a safe, equitable, and community-centered shopping experience.

Our donors provide a large selection of products and produce, fitting a wide variety of household dietary needs and preserving the dignity of choice. Because of these values, CORE Market has grown to serve over 700 individuals monthly.

Shelter & Housing Support

CORE connects individuals and families with emergency shelter options and transitional housing support to help them move toward stability. Through a partnership with Deschutes County Behavioral Health, we also provide personalized case management to address both immediate and long-term needs.

Our team works closely with clients to develop housing plans and access the resources necessary for lasting change. Whether someone is newly unhoused or navigating long-term challenges, we are here to help.

Essential Resources

Meeting basic needs is often the first step toward recovery and stability. CORE provides food, clean water, hygiene supplies, and seasonally appropriate clothing to individuals and families in need.

In addition to physical resources, we also offer compassionate mental health support to help people manage stress, trauma, and emotional health. These essentials serve as a foundation for people to begin rebuilding their lives.

CORE also offers outdoor and extreme weather gear to protect those unhoused from the elements of Central Oregon.

Community Room Engagement

Our welcoming community room offers a safe and warm space for individuals to rest, recharge, and connect. Guests can enjoy a hot meal, charge their phones or devices, and exchange propane tanks for heating and cooking.

Offered Mondays 9am-1pm. Guests have access to a laptop to complete applications for housing, jobs, and welfare programs. The space also serves as a hub for conversation, support, and connection with volunteers, service providers, and peers.

It’s a place where dignity and community come first.

Forest Outreach

CORE extends its reach beyond city limits by actively engaging with individuals living in forested areas of Sisters Country. Our outreach team builds trust through consistent visits, providing resources, listening with compassion, and fostering genuine connections.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel seen and supported, no matter where they are. This program helps bridge the gap between isolation and access to care.

Shower & Laundry Services

In partnership with Sisters Community Church, CORE offers weekly access to hot showers every Saturday from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, providing comfort and cleanliness in a safe setting.

We also support laundry needs by offering a weekly wash-and-dry opportunity at Sisters Laundromat, hosted by our dedicated volunteers on Wednesdays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

These services help individuals maintain hygiene and dignity while navigating unstable living situations. Personal care is a powerful step toward self-worth and well-being.
